Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you and JEDI International Co., Ltd. (杰達國際有限公司), the operating entity of the mosimoSIM brand ("we", "us"). By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms in their entirety.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind such entity to this agreement.

mosimoSIM provides Japanese local mobile phone number subscription services for overseas users:

• Lite Plan: data and SMS only, no voice calls.

• Voice Plan: voice calls, SMS, and data. KYC identity verification required.

Both physical SIM and eSIM are available.

To use the Service you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity to enter into contracts.

• Provide true, accurate, and current registration information.

• Pass KYC verification with a passport and photo ID for Voice plans.

Each individual may hold a maximum of one active phone number subscription.

• All plans have a minimum contract term of 12 months, calculated from the activation date (activatedAt).

• Billing starts on the 1st day of the month following activation.

• No monthly fee applies for the month of activation. The fee for the first billing month is collected upfront as part of your initial payment; that month's invoice covers usage charges only, and no invoice is issued if there are none.

• Monthly fees must be paid by the due date shown on each invoice.

• In addition to monthly fees, SMS sending and voice calls are charged per usage. See the Usage Rates page for details.

• We reserve the right to adjust fees due to upstream cost changes. Changes will be notified in advance and apply only to future months.

• The initial payment is charged once at the time of application and covers the setup fee, shipping (physical SIM) and the first billing month's fee.

• From the second billing month onward, monthly fees and usage charges are combined and invoiced the following month.

• Payment methods: credit card (VISA, MasterCard, JCB, AMEX) or ATM virtual account, processed via NewebPay.

• Late payments will be handled per Section 6 of these Terms.

If you fail to pay by the due date, we will proceed as follows:

• D+0: Invoice becomes overdue, first reminder sent.

• D+30: Second reminder with suspension warning.

• D+60: Phone service is suspended.

• D+90: Breach-of-contract procedure begins. Under the Basic Trading Agreement, our Taiwan legal entity will pursue collection.

Once all overdue invoices are fully paid, service will automatically be reinstated.

Termination before the end of the contract term incurs a cancellation fee calculated as:

Fee = remaining months × monthly fee + NT$690 (cancellation handling fee, tax inclusive)

Service termination date (based on application date):

• Applied on or before the 15th → service stops on the last day of the current month; this month's monthly fee is charged normally.

• Applied on or after the 16th → service stops on the last day of the next month; both this and next month's monthly fees are charged.

Monthly fees already paid (including the termination month) are non-refundable.

The fee will be issued as a final invoice, to be paid within 14 days of termination.

No cancellation fee applies if you terminate after the contract end date.

You may not use the Service for any of the following:

• Violation of laws in Japan or your jurisdiction.

• Fraud, harassment, spam, or any malicious activity.

• Reselling, transferring, or sublicensing the phone number to third parties.

• Attempting to crack, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service.

• Submitting false KYC documents.

• Abnormal usage: continuous heavy data consumption via video / P2P, short-duration mass downloads, or any usage significantly beyond typical patterns. We may throttle or suspend service.

• Machine-originated calls / bulk auto-sending: automated voice dialing, mass SMS sending via scripts or bots.

Violators may have their service terminated immediately without refund.

All content of the Service (including but not limited to trademarks, logos, UI design, source code, and text) is owned by mosimoSIM or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. No reproduction, modification, or commercial use is permitted without written consent.

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

• We are not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure (natural disaster, war, legal changes, upstream carrier failures, etc.).

• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced 30 days in advance via our website or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kaohsiung District Court of Taiwan as the court of first instance.
